The North Texas Traditional Dance Society (NTTDS) was chartered in 1986 as a non-profit educational organization to promote a better understanding and appreciation of American folk dancing, its music, its history, and related folklore. … For example there would be a regularly scheduled activity - such as 1 mile walk in the park but there would also be future planned meet ups attending salsa classes, taking a 6 week krav maga course, attending fitness workshops and lectures, cooking demonstrations, bike rides, etc...and they could happen all over the metroplex - a good way to learn about the city, have fun, meet new folks, and get fit.

This is a meetup for folks who enjoy going to a variety of arts and entertainment events like museum exhibits, art gallery openings, the opera, the theater, classical and jazz music concerts, good movies, and even excursions to such places as the Dallas Arboretum  --  all in the company of other like-minded arts and entertainment fans.
